The challenge is to detonate 16 Orbs at once. - That means you need to bring down Ogres quickly so that all your orbs drop in one spot.
- You have to deal with Knights. The no Knights strategy is a no-go.
- You can't let your Ogres wander. If the Orbs are too far apart you won't be able to detonate in one go.
After 4 rounds, everyone runs and detonates their Orbs. Take out your heavies or your snipers, kill Oryx. Done.

Not quite sure what you guys are signing up for. This is a guide to the Oryx Challenge Mode, not a raid sign-up.

a few pointers for each position:
RUNNERS - Not much changes for you here. Run. Grab relic. The second you have it, make it very clear that you have it so everyone can make their way to the center as quickly as possible. USE A RAZE LIGHTER OR SLEEPER SIMULANT THE VESSEL!!! That will take him down in two swipes. Once in the center, your primary focus is calling when Oryx slams and keeping DPS on Oryx. This keeps aggro on you only (in case anyone gets out of your aura on accident) while your teammates are focused on adds. Just keep Touch of Malice equipped (be careful not to kill yourself with it during the shade phase, or just swap weapons quickly). During the final phase, you will listen for all blight detonators to say they are ready. Once they are, give a countdown for them.
PLATFORMERS - You will be assisting in killing the Ogres, but floaters will be primarily focused on them. Once the ogre is down, the knight spawns on the OPPOSITE far side corner. The Knights are your primary focus (at least the first 3). Two sniper headshots will kill it. Don't use Touch of Malice on them, as adds will be a problem. When your knight is down, focus on adds ASAP! The second you hear the runner say they have the relic, book it to the center and locate the 4th knight and take it out ASAP. If the runner didn't get the vessel down yet, focus on the vessel immediately after the 4th knight is down. Listen for the Oryx slam. After staggering Oryx, focus on adds in the front and back for the first 3 rounds. For the final round, only difference is instead of getting adds, run to where you blight spawns and wait for everyone to say they are ready. Once ready, the runner will provide a countdown and everyone detonate all blights at the same time and run back once you verify you've detonated 4. PAY ATTENTION FOR YOUR NAME TO SHOW UP 4 TIMES!!!! Run back to the center, but if you don't make it, that's ok (you've won by this point if all went well).
FLOATERS - Bubble Titans with Weapons of Light AND Blessings are preferred. If only one bubble titan, then just blessings of light (to protect when using Touch of Malice). When the runner starts running, pop bubbles in the center between the daughters platforms. KNOW THE ORDER OF THE OGRE SPAWNS AND BE FOCUSED ON THEM BEFORE THEY EVEN STAND UP!!!! You will be primarily melting ogres. Do all 4 in sequence and keep them where they spawn every time. Once the 4 ogres are down, focus on whatever remaining knight is left, then kill adds (in that order specifically). After staggering oryx, focus on adds for the first 3 phases. The 4th phase, only one of the floaters (whichever one doesn't detonate a blight) will be focused on keeping oryx's chest open. You will DPS with the runner. As long as you do that, the blights will do maximum damage to Oryx.

SHADE PHASE (outside shade) - The second you see that Oryx is moving, book it to the front and kill every remaining add BEFORE killing knights. Knights won't spawn in the bubble, but the adds do. Not a bad idea to have one person designated for left knight, and another for right knight. This way the other 4 are focused on the adds up front. Once knights are down, keep at least two guardians on the left and two on the right to kill adds instantly.
SHADE PHASE (inside shade) - Call out when you get teleported in. Snipe the shade. When the shade begins to come in, any self-res warlock needs to run directly at the shade and jump over it. This will cause the shade to slam early, and protect anyone who may be spawning in. The warlock will take very little damage, and if they do die, they can just come back to life anyway. Keeping the shade on the outside and killing it there is the safest method. DO NOT TETHER THE SHADE INSIDE!!!
ASSIGNMENTS - Platformers and 1 Floater will be assigned specific blight locations for the 4th phase. KNOW YOUR POSITION! For outside shade phase, assign two for Knights and the rest focus adds.
Following these guidelines will easily grant you a victory and keep everything super smooth.
