When I'm on the back platforms during the Challenge Mode for Oryx, I've had a hard time getting down the Light Eating Knights. Front Knights are pretty easy to snip. Back Knights are quite hard to snipe.
Here is a video showing the man on the platform taking down Ogres, then waiting for Knights to middle walkway and taking two knights down with a machine gun.
What's interesting is that the platformers exclusively focus on Ogres, then Knights. He does little to take down adds. Having the floaters deal with the adds, while the platformers deal with adds might be an effective way to run this fight from the back.
