Is any strike/Bandh going in darjeeling and gangtok now ?

Hi,
I just now saw in news channel something like 144 has ordered in darjeeling/gangtok. And some issue going around darjeeling. I have planned to travel on oct5 with my wife (she is pregnant 5 months). So Please someone tell me what is the condition now ? Is it right time to visit ? i dont wanna get in to trouble..

Please help.
