Titans, stop! It’s Hammer Time! Not even sure why there needs to be a guide for this. But if you just got this game yesterday, here it is! Let’s knock this out!
SUNBREAKER
There is really only one choice for this build. It’s dominant in rumble, solo-play, or team play. This is (what some would say) the best PVP class. But, if you want to have some fun, I’ve provided another option for team based map control. Note, for as most builds, the jump is whichever you prefer, but I tend to go for better control, since you are more mobile in mid air.
REALLY, THE ONLY OPTION - Hammer Time!
- Best paired with these exotics; Bad Juju and Immolation Fists.
- Focus on Intellect and Strength.
- Shotguns, Sidearms, and Rocket Launchers are recommended optional weapons.
The goal of this build is gaining your super as quickly as possible. Once you have your hammers, you now are able to throw approximately 7 hammers that will seek out and kill your enemies. Not only that, but close by enemies dies due to the inherent explosions it creates! Keep to a closer range attack distance and use your melee whenever possible. It will burn down your enemies and in a team scenario, the enemies now take MORE damage due to the melee build. If they happen to die from the solar damage instead, they’ll just explode. If they explode, you heal. That’s the beauty of it. You can play aggressively, as long as those kills are you getting are from your solar damage. Have fun with this one!
SUPPORT - The Solar Flare!
- Best paired with these exotics; Red Death and An Insurmountable Skullfort
- Focus on a balanced build, mostly intellect and discipline though.
- Use some ranged weapons. Snipers, Fusion Rifles, and Machine Guns recommended.
This is a great team build if multiple Titans generate Sunspots
This build is setup to make yourself a “Hammer Turret” by standing inside of a Sunspot to get an overshield and give yourself more time to throw hammers. The Thermite Grenade should be used at entryways to keep enemies out of an area. Focus on communication with your other titans and use your hammers in conjunction with how Sunspots are generated. Use your melee as a kill method, to ensure that you generate spots. If the field is covered in these spots, enemies will be cautious of where to go. This will bottleneck them into areas as needed and your team can easily pick the enemy off.
Let us know what you think or share your ideas!
