This is my go to class for PVP. I have been playing with this class since TTK dropped. I’ve tried numerous different builds, these two are my favorites. Can’t tell you how many time’s I’ve wiped the floor with the enemy just zapping away at them!
STORMCALLER
This subclass is great for solo play and team play, as it is very well rounded and quite safe to use.
SUPPORT / TEAM - Lightning God!
- Best paired with these exotics; MIDA Multi-Tool (when year 2 drops) or Bad Juju, and The Impossible Machines.
- Focus on Intellect & Discipline always!
- Use a Sidearm or Shotgun for special, Sword or Machine Gun for heavy.
This is a very fluid build. Enemies don’t even need to be that close to melee the snot out of them. Thunderstrike provides a major range boost with Amplitude. If things get hairy and you take a bit of damage, you’ll send out a pulse with not only gives yourself a major speed boost, but all teammates around you. Also, while your teammates are nearby, you’ll be getting your super 50% faster. Stick together! Once you’ve got your super, close in and jump before activating. The Landfall perk from your impossible machines with destroy any enemy below you, and blind enemies outside the blast radius. The chain lightning will blast farther out and chain to another enemy farther away, so you can feel free to chase them down and light them up! Return to your teammates the second your super is up and repeat the process!
SOLO - The Zapper!
- Best paired with these exotics; MIDA Multi-Tool (when year 2 drops) or Bad Juju, and The Impossible Machines.
- Focus on Intellect & Discipline always!
- Use a Sidearm or Shotgun for special, Sword or Machine Gun for heavy.
This build is neat, as you’ll want to use your melee and grenades often enough to get kills, as each will recharge one another. Once your super is ready, be patient to make sure your grenade and melee are both available. Once they are, save your super for a surprise moment! When the enemy thinks they have you down, pop it and regain full health and start towards them! You’ll be teleporting closer to your enemy, which will make it very difficult for them to land a shot before you are next to them zapping them away. You also have some more time to use your super. Take advantage of it and hunt down any enemies in the area. This build is great for holding down a capture point or particular area of the map.
