Let me start by saying that if you don't currently use an item manager to transfer gear between characters, you're wasting your time and need to get with the program. Item managers are fantastic! You can swap gear from the vault, and other characters, to any place you need them. Most even support loadout creations that let you one click move and equip all the gear you need to fit any situation at the drop of a hat! That said, there are many options out there. So what one should you choose?
By default, you should already have the official Destiny App. That's how you joined the clan after all. This is a great utility that allows you the bare essentials in vault management, as well as keeping you posted on Bungies blog. That's all there is to say though. It's slow, clunky, and a bit ugly. The following options however, are where it's really at. And where you should want to be if you aren't already. Let's begin!

If you have access to a computer while kicking Oryx in the empty void where his junk should be, then Destiny Item Manager is the best by far. It's a simple Chrome browser extension with every feature you could ever want, in a very clean and well thought out user interface. This is the cream of the crop. Mobile users can only dream, so stop reading right now if you can utilize this option. Go on now, get back to the game...SCRAM!

If comouter access is less than comvenient, or even impossible, don't fret. Both IOS and Android have you covered as well.
-On the Android front we have Ishtar Academy. Not only does the name match our own, it's got more features than we have jokes about Exotic Sparrows! Full loadout support, exact hidden stat specifications on all gear, quick gear location swapping from anywhere in app, a favorites list to easily keep track of top gear, and a search feature to find anything else lost across your account.
-On IOS you can enjoy a similar app called Ishtar Command. It's like they made these apps just for us, and I'm ok with that! Just like Ishtar Academy, all the same features are present. Loadout support, gear details, the whole nine yards...whatever that means? The only real difference is how it looks on the visual front. Where Academy goes for a simple list approach, Command looks to imitate the in game inventory feel.
