The challenge is that all 6 players need to hold Golgy's gaze prior to Golgy's gaze being lost.
It seems the easiest way to do this is to use the single bubble strategy. Proceed as you would with the normal strategy with Holder #1 gaining gaze, and the rest of the players DPS-ing Golgy. Designated Holder #2 leaves the pool at 5 seconds left goes to opposite side of holder #1 and grabs Golgy's gaze. All players exit the pool when they normally would. Holders #3 and #5 go to #1's side, and #4 and #6 go with number #2. You pass gaze through holders 3 through 6 IMMEDIATELY by hitting the Golgy sweetspot on his back.
Rinse and repeat for 2 more rounds.
Alternatively there is a strategy where holder #6 is on add duty and you keep bringing down bubbles, and holders exit and re-enter the pool for Golgy DPS. It seems that this strategy is more difficult and more error prone.
